Straight A Tutoring has been serving the Los Angeles area since 2017. Founded by Zoe Vandervelden, Straight A Tutoring offers in-home tutoring services to students of all ages. We are based in Santa Monica and offer in-home tutoring to students residing on the Westside of Los Angeles. We seek to create a fun learning environment and a passion for learning in each student. We aim to equip each student with the tools necessary for academic achievement through a greater understanding of the material. We will assess each student's academic proficiency in order to identify their academic strengths and weaknesses, allowing us to build an individualized program. Through support, encouragement, and increased confidence, each student can overcome their academic challenges and can achieve success.

Our Tutors
All of our tutors are highly educated, possessing at least a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Many hold teaching degrees and are full-time educators throughout the Los Angeles area. Each tutor has an outstanding academic record and has demonstrated their expertise in a particular subject area. We thoughtfully match each student with their ideal tutor based on their specific academic goals and struggles. Each of our tutors embodies a true passion for teaching and a commitment to the success of each student. All tutors are fully vaccinated against Covid and are extensively background-checked and vetted prior to employment.
